Focus: Developing a deeper and broader understanding of number sense from K-3.

Focus: To support Gr. 8’s learning about a variety of social justice issues through a course designed specifically for them, while still weaving Indigenous ways of learning into daily classroom practice as a means to help learners process new information, maintain strong, supportive relationships and a sense of belonging. (Creating spaces where Indigenous learners felt connected and valued instead of singled out).
Focus: To work with the local Indigenous communities to provide learning opportunities that reflect local culture, history, and language.

Focus: As a District Team we wanted to understand what created a risk free environment for adults – what supports needed to be in place and what circumstances needed to be realized in order for adults to move learning into place?
Focus: Engaging students through competency based learning while covering the content.

Focus: To increase a sense of belonging amongst learners in our Middle Years wing, through a more consistent advisory/CREW time program in all classes.
Focus: To create an inspired place-based, Koh-Learning space in a commonly used learning space.
Focus: On strengthening oral language, writing & self regulation skills, as well as ecological & cultural knowledge by blending outdoor experiences with literature, nonfiction reading and storytelling using loose parts (Story Workshop).
Focus: On strengthening relationships with learners and families in our three schools to reduce barriers to success, by learning about our Indigenous Peoples’ history and culture.
Focus: On improving number sense from Kindergarten to grade 6, by reinvigorating the use of manipulatives to solidify the concrete understanding of number at all levels of Math learning.
Focus: Addressing full learning program for each student, including cultural learning.
